Where Your Donation Goes

Bumpass Volunteer Fire Department is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 54-1494816), and every member — from the Fire Chief to our newest probationary firefighter — serves without pay. Donations fund the things that keep an all-volunteer department running: turnout gear and SCBA equipment for firefighters, maintenance and fuel for our five response apparatus, firefighter and EMS training, and free community programs like CPR classes, station tours, and fire-safety education for local schools.

Because we serve a largely rural area around Lake Anna with limited hydrant coverage, community support directly determines how well-equipped our crews are when a call comes in. Every gift, of any size, stays right here in northeastern Louisa County. Thank you for standing with your local firefighters.
